Hi, I’m Ramblewood! I’m an indie-folk / singer-songwriter and I write songs for getting lost. I’ve been writing music for a LONG time and finally have a collection of songs that are exciting enough to share with you! If you've made it this far you’re still not 100% convinced, and I get it. I’m just some random artist that you don’t really know. Maybe you don’t want to get lost with me because you’ve listened to too many true crime podcasts and, you know... stranger danger. So, here’s a little background on me so that you don’t feel like I’m just some weirdo with a guitar.

My real name is Austin Harsh and I grew up in central Ohio on my family’s farm (yeehaw am i right?) I started music at 5 years old when my mom put me into piano lessons and have been playing ever since. When I was in middle school my brother got a guitar for his birthday, but somehow I was the one that ended up playing it all the time… seriously, I played it A LOT. That was 15 years ago. Since then, I’ve been writing songs and playing in bands. Cover bands, garage bands, acoustic bands, jam bands you name it, I’ve played it.

Ramblewood is a pretty new project (the first release was in March of 2023) but it's been growing FAST. I had some help from the all-powerful TikTok algo and it helped to push these songs from 0 to more than 620,000 streams and counting in the last 10 months. I’m happy about that, but you can’t connect with hundreds of thousands of nameless faceless Spotify streamers. That’s where this Rambler EP Experience idea comes in. I wanted a way to actually connect with the people listening, and to get to know them a little better, and this is it. So you're still not convinced? Okay, here's a little more background info for you! Outside of music I love the outdoors! I try to spend as much time exploring national parks, camping, and hiking as possible when I’m not making music. Somehow, I feel like being lost in the woods is the best way to find yourself. That’s where the whole “Get Lost with Us”, and 'Songs for getting lost" taglines for Ramblewood came from. I’m trying to make music that feels like that wave of calm and serenity I feel in the wilderness so that you can feel it too.
